Course Description:
To introduce the students with fundamental concepts, parameters, and types of antenna systems and to apply them to analyze and design different types of antennas. Students will learn the impedance matching of the antenna and how to characterize antennas and how to use antennas. Different types of antennas and their applications will be introduced, with focus on dipole antennas, aperture antennas, and microstrip patch antennas, etc.
